Neecha, a Thai Restaurant

Noodles in my culture, is the main event in birthday celebrations, as it signifies long life. Different versions of noodles has been a mainstay in my kitchen, a favorite. Pad thai is one of them, there are of course different ways of making them, some use tamarind sauce, some just the tomato.

Neecha Thai on Grand Avenue in Oakland is a better one. I say better because it has more sophistication. Where there is blending of flavors, one does not overpower the other. More complementary.

I give them credit to better food presentation, rice is served in a woven bowl.
